Making
the Most of Summer
NO MATTER how much we anticipate the summer holidays, the
long hot (and often rainy) days can sometimes drag, bringing that familiar
cry, “I’m bored!” Keeping children entertained through
those lazy days of summer can be a problem any time, but even more so when
times are hard and cash in short supply.
Help is at hand for Eastleigh
& Fareham families this summer, thanks to a new booklet, Making
the Most of Summer. Put together by Hampshire Families with
information from many organisations, these booklets are jam packed with
suggestions of activities, places to go and play ideas for all ages.
You may be surprised at the variety of
entertainment Eastleigh & Fareham have to offer. Add to this the ideas for activities in
your own back garden or indoors on rainy days and the summer holidays
won’t seem a minute too long.
