Aug – various dates	Blashford Lakes – Playdays We offer fun filled holiday activity days with an emphasis on environmental education and outdoor play. Playdays are registered as Out of School Day Care Providers with Ofsted and are offered in partnership with the New Forest District Council. Places are limited so booking is essential - please contact NFDC on 02380 285102. All Playdays - £9 per child, 10am to 3pm. Ocean Commotion (5-7 year olds) - Aug Tue 5^th Life’s A Beach! (8-12 year olds) - Aug Wed 6^th Bring an old t-shirt along for some funky fish printing fun and help celebrate Marine Week. Where the Wild Things Are (5-7 year olds) – Aug Wed 20^th Wildlife Safari (8-12 year olds) – Aug Thus 21^st Ponder the pond, rekky the river, wander the wood and mosey through the meadow to discover the really wildside of life at Blashford Lakes with Education Officer Jim Day and friends. Woodland Ways (5-7 year olds) – Aug Tues 26^th Wild in the Woods (8-12 year olds) – Aug Wed 27^th A really wild Playday, playing with fire, getting wet and muddy and doing all the things we can’t do at home in the safe hands of Education Officer Jim Day and friends!
1^st , 15^th & 29^th Aug	Guided Walks & Family Events at Blashford Lakes Night Watch Aug Fri 1^st 8:30-10pm, Aug Fri 15^th8:15-9:45pm, Aug Fri 29^th 8-9:30pm. Join us in the woodland hide as twilight fades and then set out to discover the nightlife of Blashford Lakes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential for all events please telephone (01425 472760) to book your place. We welcome a suggested donation of £1.50 per person for each event, unless otherwise stated. Please note that children must be supervised at all times and that dogs are not permitted on the reserve
13^th Aug	Guided Walks & Family Events at Blashford Lakes Family Freshwater Fun Aug Wed 13^th 1:30-3:30pm Children, bring your parents to show off your skills with a net and introduce them to Blashfords’ pond and river creatures – fantastic family fun! Don’t forget your wellies! Booking is essential for all events please telephone (01425 472760) to book your place. 10-16^th Nov	Road Safety Week Brake is an organisation that can help you to promote Road Safety not just during Road Safety Week but at any time . They have created a special event called Beep Beep! Day to help you kick-start your road safety learning and support Brake. Whether you are a nursery, infant school, child minder, playgroup or children's club organiser, you can take part! 16^th Sept	HCFF branch meeting 16^th Sept 7.30 (7pm for refreshments) at Waldorf School, Ringwood (Out of Ringwood onto dual carriageway past petrol station/Somerfields. Take first exit to go under the dual carriage way and then take 2^nd left (first left is not really a road), go slightly up this road and turn right into the school – please be aware this is a 2 way road.)
