The North Downs Branch covers the wards of East Woodhay, Highclere and Bourne, Whitchurch, Overton and Laverstoke, Kingsclere and Burghclere. The branch area is mainly made up of of rural villages interweaved within the hills of the North Downs. supported by the larger towns of Whitchurch and Kingsclere. Highclere is situated about five miles from the Berkshire border and is famous for it’s castle which dominates the village of Highclere and is the home of Lord Carnarvon. As with many of the villages there is no shop and post office and local children travel to nearby schools in the larger willage of Woolton Hill. Ecchinswell, Whitchurch, Kingsclere and Overton and St Marybourne provide Pre-school and Primary education for children and Burghclere and Whitchurch provide community schools that host a number of clubs, activities for the whole family, after school clubs and holiday schemes for children as well as Comprehensive Education for 11-16 year olds.

The Co-ordinator can be contacted by leaving a message with the Community Office at Testbourne Community School either in person or by telephone as above.
