| The Hythe & Totton Branch area: The village of Hythe lies on the western shore of Southampton Water abutting the New Forest. At 640m long, Hythe boasts one of the 10 longest piers in the British Isles. Totton, too, is situated in the New Forest District and parts of Eling ar planned to be included in the proposed New Forest National Park.
