With the assistance of guest speakers from outside agencies, parents can explore the issues which touch everybody’s lives. 4^th Dec	Gosport Christmas Lights Event Food! Live Music! Lantern Procession! Entertainment starts at 4pm The Worshipful Mayor of Gosport Cllr Derek Kimber will be joined by Santa to turn on the Christmas lights at 5:45pm Lawrence Square, High Street Fun continues in the Discovery Centre, with free live music in the café. 20^th Dec	Bah! Humbug! Create a Scene from A Christmas Carol at SEARCH museum 10 – 12 am or 2 – 4 pm Re-arrange our Victorian room sets and artefacts into scenes from the Dickens story. Research who might have owned or used the items and how they were used at Christmas time. Make decorations, play parlour games and dress up as the book characters to create a dramatic tableau. Suitable for families and also for KS4 students studying Dickens texts for GCSE. Children under 8 must be accompanies.
