Food! Live Music! Lantern Procession! Entertainment starts at 4pm The Worshipful Mayor of Gosport Cllr
Derek Kimber will be joined by Santa to turn on the Christmas lights at
5:45pm Fun continues in the Discovery Centre,
with free live music in the café. Dickens at Christmas (for ticket holders
only) will be performed at 7:30pm with mince pies and mulled wine (or fruit

Bah! Humbug!
Create a Scene from A Christmas Carol at SEARCH museum 10 – 12 am or 2 – 4 pm Re-arrange our Victorian
room sets and artefacts into scenes from the Dickens story. Research who might have owned or used the
items and how they were used at Christmas time. Make decorations, play parlour games and
dress up as the book characters to create a dramatic tableau. Suitable for families and also for KS4
students studying Dickens texts for GCSE.
Children under 8 must be accompanies.
