Britain's First Flier: a centennial celebration of the life and work of Samuel Cody, Rushmoor's aviation pioneer.
Visitors will be able to explore his fascinating life story: from his origins in America through to his pioneering days as designer, builder and pilot of the first British plane to take to the air in this country

Meet the Lost Boys, an Indian tribe, mermaids and fairies as well as the villainous Captain Hook, his bumbling sidekick Smee and remember to listen out for the monotonous tic-toc of the deadly crocodile

Magic in the Nursery at Aldershot Military Museum

Walter Crane and Randolph Caldecott are acknowledged to be the founding fathers of the childrens picture book, and this magical exhibition explores their work along with that of illustrator Kate Greenaway, in ways that will appeal to young and old alike. A selection of books, musical instruments and sing-along panels will also be on display.

The Singing Kettle at Princes Hall, Princes Way, Aldershot GU11 1NX

The Singing Kettle gang have taken over the toyshop. Unfortunately, all the toy deliveries have been delayed. When they eventually arrive the audience need to help Cilla, Artie, Gary and Kevin stock the shelves, display all the toys and get ready for the arrival of a mystery guest who is due at any moment for the grand opening, but we’ve no idea who it can be!

Myth & Legends at Aldershot Military Museum

This hands on exhibition for all the family explores some of the many myth and legends from around the world. Visitors can read dragon tales and solve the riddle to pass the dragon and enter his lair, or visit an Egyptian tomb to unravel the story of Osiris and mummies.

Ghosts of the Falklands, Aldershot Military Museum

Monday 11 May 2009 to Sunday 21 Jun 2009

The Warships of Fareham Creek - Photographs by Trevor Evans. Evocative photographs of the Falklands warships HMS Fearless, Intrepid, Cardiff and Glasgow at Fareham Creek - the final resting place of many of Britain's great ships. The exhibition includes film, memories and objects from the Falklands War.

Fabulous Finger Puppets, Aldershot Military Museum

Aldershot Military Museum 11:00am Tuesday 26 May 2009

Come and make a fabulous finger puppet at the museum - you can either use one of our designs or create your own. The puppet making is a free family activity and workshops run from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
